Aroha Cancer Centre in Meru serves the Mount Kenya population and beyond, and is a trusted voice on cancer prevention, signs, symptoms and treatment. Its first website needed to be compassionate, clear and easy to use for patients and families at a difficult time.

What I built

  • Clear services and care pathways. Screening, diagnostics and treatment explained in plain language.
  • Public education. Content on prevention and early warning signs, with embedded video.
  • Easy to reach. An interactive map and prominent contact routes.
  • A modern, fast build. Next.js and React with smooth on-scroll animations.

The result

Aroha launched with a professional, empathetic web presence that supported its public-education mission. The centre has since moved to a new site.
